On the week of August 18th, 2014, Precision Optical attended and displayed at the annual SPIE© Optics + Photonics© meeting, held at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego California. A contingent of that consisted of CEO Alan Lambert Sr., Jan Lambert, VP of Sales and Marketing Paul Dimeck, and Sales Manager Jim McClure fronted Precision Optical’s presence at our recently updated display booth. CTO/VP of Engineering Nicolaus Lambert and Optical Engineer Bo Wang were able to add re-enforcements to the already strong presence on Wednesday the 20th.
SPIE Optics + Photonics is one the largest international, multidisciplinary, optical sciences and technology meetings in North America, with booths and presentations from the latest research in optical engineering. The topics included solar energy, nanotechnology, manufacturing, organic photonics, and educational outreach.
With 34 courses and workshops and over 180 vendors and suppliers stations, Optics + Photonics was a prime opportunity to showcase the vast selection of products from Precision Optical. We specialize in high precision corner cubes, custom prism geometries, and optical flats. In addition, the meeting also gave the Precision Optical staff an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the most cutting edge trends in the optics and photonics industry.
Precision Optical plans on returning to SPIE Optics + Photonics next year when it returns to the San Diego Convention Center as part of our continuing mission to provide the industry with the highest quality optical components.
