On behalf of Precision Optical, I, Alan M. Lambert Sr. am thrilled to announce that Nicolaus (Nick) Lambert is the new President of the Company. Nick’s promotion to President is a natural progression for his work at Precision Optical, a family-owned company. His expertise in the technical side of the company is unparalleled, and his background in physics, coupled with his good nature, makes him the ideal person to take the helm.

Precision Optical has partnered with Irvine Valley College’s Photonics Technology Program and Dr. Brian Monacelli in hosting classes at Precision Optical’s facility in Costa Mesa California.

On the week of August 18th, 2014, Precision Optical attended and displayed at the annual SPIE© Optics + Photonics© meeting, held at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego California.

Precision Optical is pleased to announce its employees of the month for August and September 2014. Janelle Krebsbach is our employee of the month for August. Dave Pacheco is our employee of the month for September.

On October 8th, 2014 Precision Optical was proud to host an extraordinary meeting of the OSSC. The meeting was held at Precision Optical’s facility, with the support of OSA, and SPIE. The focus of the event was to further the cause of the National Photonics Initiative (“NPI”).

Precision Optical is pleased to announce its employees of the month for June and July 2014. Jack Douangpanya is our employee of the month for June. Rodney Guzman is our employee of the month for July.

Precision Optical is happy to announce its Employees of the Month for May, 2014. The award is shared by three employees: Carlos Arreola, Javier Arreola, and Victor Arreola. Together, they comprise our Hand Correction Department, which is one of our most important manufacturing areas.

On April 2nd, 2014 a contingent from Precision Optical attended the annual Space Technology Expo in Long Beach California.

On April 9th, 2014 VP of Engineering Nick Lambert spoke on a panel hosted by the Optical Society of Southern California (“OSSC”) as well as Cal Poly Pomona Career Center at the Kellogg West Conference Center to speak about careers in the optics industry.
